Exercise Today
For a long time, people in the past were inactive and didn’t exercise. However, people do more vigorous aerobic exercises which requires a constant flow of oxygen now. There are much more joggers today than twenty years ago. As our reading says exercising is necessary for health. I believe this is true, and I feel exercise is good for health from my experience with it.
According to Seal (1997) in “Exercise”, exercise helps body and mind, but regular exercise is difficult for people to maintain. Aerobic exercise makes the heart strong and enables people to live longer. Exercise lowers cholesterol, protects arteries, helps overweight people lose weight, and it improves psychology by relieving depression. However people don’t do it regularly, so psychologists say other needs to encourage people for support. In addition, people need to fit exercise into their daily routine.
I think it is important to keep exercising for health. Exercises which I like make me feel refreshed. In my case, I like dancing, and I go to dance twice a week now. It trains my body and makes me feel better. Exercising regularly is difficult, but if it is a favorite exercise, people can do it more easily. In addition, it is good idea to do exercise like using stairs instead of elevator or walking a short distance instead of using cars in daily life. This is very easy and efficient way to keep exercise for people because people are able to do them into their life and have not to take a lot of their time. I think it is important for people to do exercise which fits their own style.
